DAY 3

Without a doubt, Gerard Butler is the perfect specimen in regards to a man who looks infinitely better with the addition of a beard. Beardless, Gerard looks like just a pretty good-looking guy. However, even with the slightest hint of facial hair Gerard metamorphoses into a sexy, gallant man’s man. Bearded, Gerard appears as though he swears like a sailor, beats up guys that look at at his women wrongly, and uses cars as weights just for kicks. Don’t get us wrong, here at hoyguyswithbeards we’re all for feminism and shit but there’s nothing wrong with liking a man once in a while that’s all beard and crassness with almost no semblance of emotions. Besides, as the phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Gerard obviously proves that he can be a sensitive, emotional wreck of a crooner.
